Over at the Ship Hotel, Lucas has his work cut out with his devious new girlfriend and the mystery poisoning of an anonymous hotel inspector. Will the hotel still get its 3-star Seaside Rosette?

Will Mary find true love at last? Can Titch cope with the demands of the shop and being heavily pregnant. And can Rosa, with a baby of her own, pull off the Cockleberry Bay Charity Christmas Concert in time?

Christmas in Cockleberry Bay is a festive delight for fans of Rosa and her cheeky mini dachshund Hot, delivering a feast of unpredictable events and surprises.

My Review…

What a treat it was to be back in Cockleberry Bay and the fourth book in the series was full of memorable moments. It could be read as a stand-alone but you would be missing out in all the drama that has gone in previously.

This, as I said the next novel and so things have gradually developed in this small and close-knit community. A community that looks out for and supports each other. Relationships form, some last and some don’t.

There are several main characters but the main one is Rosa, she is like the key characteristics that all the others revolve around in this series. She has family and friends and between them, they live and support each other.

With Christmas looming there is a lot for Rosa and the rest of the gang to deal with. Dodgy reindeer, babies, dogs, Santa, old acquaintances and inspectors are the tip of the iceberg. The author adds so much into this story and often with a hilarious side that had me sniggering.

This is a fabulous series and I adored this festive instalment. A wonderful heartwarming read that has some drama, lots of friendships, dogs, babies and all mixed in with a wonderful storyline. It’s a series and book I would definitely recommend.
