Hello and welcome to another weekly round-up of books I have read. I am on annual leave for the next couple of weeks, I will be taking a break from Social Media and the Blog from tomorrow, I do have a post scheduled for Thursday as part of a Blog Tour so any shares would be very much appreciated xx

It seems that spring is here and the apple trees are blossoming like mad, I am hoping that we don’t get too much wind and we lose the blossom like we did last year.

Also, the Aquilegias are starting to open, I have various ones but these are the longer stemmed ones.

While I was sitting reading I noticed a movement and saw this tiny little grasshopper. I have enlarged it so it is easier to see, but when you look at the clover leaves next to it you can see how small it actually is.

A Lady’s Guide to Fortune Hunting by Sophie Irwin – period, historical fiction, fun read.

May God Forgive by Alan Parks – police procedural, 1970s Glasgow and an amazing book to read!

Kiss of Death by Adam Croft – police procedural, part of a series, fast-paced.
