Wow! Wow! and Wow! The Autumn Tree by Tony Forder is a wonderful if somewhat darker instalment in the DI Bliss series. I adore this series and this is the 8th book. Yes you could read it as a stand-alone, to get a better impact on the characters and the previous storylines you should read them in order. A gritty, intense and complex case for Jimmy and the team to get their heads around. Keep an eye out for my full review as part of the blog tour.

Once again Rosie Clarke had me glued to her latest book, Nellie’s Heartbreak. A gorgeous and yes, heart-breaking read that I found totally captivating as I followed Nellie through her story. Once of life, love and loss. One for fans of sagas, hist fic and romance. I loved it. Full review as part of the blog tour.

Sword of Bone by Anthony Rhodes is one of the republished titles from the Imperial War Museum Wartime Classics series. The book tells of life before and during Dunkirk. It is written from the experiences of the author as he organises accommodation, supplies and other required items for the troops that follow behind him. I enjoyed this one, full review as part of the blog tour.

No Going Back

by

Robert Crouch

The latest book in the Kent Fisher series is not on Goodreads or Amazon at the moment so I cannot share an image of it yet. No Going Back by Robert Crouch has Kent assessing his life both at work , home and of curse his relationship. A brilliant story that is a very in-depth one and sees changes, keep an eye out for my full review towards the end of the month.

I do like Sue Roberts books and her latest Going Greek is another wonderful read. I will say that as much as i did enjoy it, it wasn’t quite as I expected. It was a wonderful story but the romance side felt a little flat and a bit rushed towards the end. I still enjoyed it and I would recommend it.

Well that’s me done for another week.

Have a great week ahead
