Finally Fall #booktag

I have a fun book post to share with you all. The fabulous Nicki at Secret Library Book Blog tagged me and while I don’t take part in many of these, this one did look fun. Originally started by Kelsey at there’s something about KM.

It is yet another chance to choose some different books from my shelves that have not been used in other tags 🙂

So without further fuss and ado let me show you my #FinallyFall books…

IN FALL, THE AIR IS CRISP AND CLEAR: NAME A BOOK WITH A VIVID SETTING.

While this is not a cover that screams autumn, it is always nice to be reminded of warmer days when it is cold, wet and horrible outside and this is a fabulous book that has wonderful descriptions of settings, – The Path to the Sea by Liz Fenwick

NATURE IS BEAUTIFUL… BUT ALSO DYING: NAME A BOOK THAT IS BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN, BUT ALSO DEALS WITH A HEAVY TOPIC LIKE LOSS OR GRIEF.

I read this book a few years ago and it was such a poignant read that by the end of had me in tears – Suite Francais by Irene Nemivovsky

FALL IS BACK TO SCHOOL SEASON: SHARE A NON-FICTION BOOK THAT TAUGHT YOU SOMETHING NEW.

This is another book that I read a few years ago, it is full of facts, info and pictures fabulous reading. – Jack the Ripper – the Facts by Paul Blegg

IN ORDER TO KEEP WARM, IT’S GOOD TO SPEND SOME TIME WITH THE PEOPLE WE LOVE: NAME A FICTIONAL FAMILY/HOUSEHOLD/FRIEND-GROUP THAT YOU’D LIKE TO BE A PART OF.

Growing up I loved Enid Blyton’s Famous Five, I never got on with The Secret Seven! I always wanted to ge like George (Georgina) they had the most fabulous adventures.

THE COLOURFUL LEAVES ARE PILING UP ON THE GROUND: SHOW US A PILE OF FALL-COLORED SPINES!

FALL IS THE PERFECT TIME FOR SOME STORYTELLING BY THE FIRESIDE: SHARE A BOOK WHEREIN SOMEBODY IS TELLING A STORY.

I have had this book for 30 odd years and loved reading it, a story of stories – Arabian Nights – The Book of a Thousand Nights and a Night.

THE NIGHTS ARE GETTING DARKER: SHARE A DARK, CREEPY READ.

I read this one in January and it was chilling and dark – The Tattoo Thief by Alison Belsham

THE DAYS ARE GETTING COLDER: NAME A SHORT, HEARTWARMING READ THAT COULD WARM UP SOMEBODY’S COLD AND RAINY DAY.

This is just a brilliant book, I originally read it in instalments as it was released through last year and when it was then released as a complete book I just had to get it _ The Little Cafe at the End of the Pier by Helen Rolfe.

FALL RETURNS EVERY YEAR: NAME AN OLD FAVORITE THAT YOU’D LIKE TO RETURN TO SOON.

This was another favourite from my childhood and I also watched the TV series and loved it, I would love to reread it and see if I can still feel the magic and mystery I felt when I read it as a child – Tom’s Midnight Garden by Philippa Pearce.

FALL IS THE PERFECT TIME FOR COZY READING NIGHTS: SHARE YOUR FAVORITE COZY READING “ACCESSORIES”!

OMG I love wildy coloured fluffy socks and fluffy PJ’s so much and they are perfect for sitting in front of my open fire in while I’m reading! 😍😂
