Hello once again to my weekly round up of bookishess. I have had a slower reading week as once again my concentration level has taken a dip. It is so annoying when this happens, but, if the concentration is not there then it can be forced. I have enjoyed the books I have read a huge amount but I am only able to read in short bursts.

I decided at the beginning of the month that I was due for a social media break and blogging break. So this post is for two weeks, but for my week off I didn’t really read anything or even listen to anything because of the concentration.

So let me show you what I have read…

First up is a book that I was on a Blog Tour for

Come Back For My by Heidi Perks is a fabulous and very atmospheric mystery read. More about the mystery that a crime thriller as such. A totally addictive and wonderful read that I adored from the very start.

Next up is another Blog Tour book

The Awakening Aten by Aiden K. Morrissey is a historical fiction with many historical facts incorporated into the story. It is a fabulous read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is also the first book in a planned saga series. If you like ancient Egyptian fiction then I think you will really enjoy this one.

My current read is for another Blog Tour, I know I said I was dropping back from them at the beginning of the year but I do seem to have picked a few up…!!!

Wanderers by Chuck Wendig… OMG I am loving this book so much, I am half way through it and I am addicted to it. It has been a while since I have read a dystopian/ sci fi and this one is hitting all the right notes for me.

Here is the synopsis…

I have a couple more Blog Tours to read for this month, and with the exception of one in August I have no more until september. This means I can try to read a few more of my #20 Books of Summer reads. I am up to number 4 at the moment so it will be interesting to see how close I get to my target.

Hopefully you will be able to see the images I have included, they kept disappearing while I was writing this post up. WordPress and its trickery or me and my fat fumbs… hmmm Im not sure… 😂😂

They are both Springer / Cocker Spaniel crosses know as Billy Bony Bum and Buster Big Bum for obvious reasons! They are a great pair of characters and are inseperable, they are also cousins and we love them to bits 💖💖
